BRITE Services

Founded in 1976, BRITE Services is a not-for-profit organisation with a proud history of providing training and employment services to people with a disability.

Its services operate across three business units: BRITE Pak, BRITE Plants and BRITE Herbs. BRITE Pak offers quality, competitively priced sub-contract assembly and packaging services, as well as clean-room packing, blister sealing and plastic blister manufacture.

For this project, 250 m² of Flowcoat OP was installed in a striking steel blue colour within BRITE Services’ busy packaging rooms.

Flowcoat OP is a hardwearing and solvent free epoxy resin flooring solution that delivers the level best in protective and chemical resistant floor coatings. It was chosen for this project thanks to its ability to withstand the impacts and wear that would occur in the packaging rooms on a daily basis. This durable nature means that Flowcoat OP would maintain its bright and bold colour as well as its seamless, impervious and reliable finish for an extended period of time even within an intensive processing and packaging environment.

The system’s robust nature creates a uniform ‘orange peel’ surface texture that enhances slip resistance. This advantage meant that BRITE Services’ staff could rest assured that the floor underfoot would provide a safe surface that would actively minimise dangerous slips and falls.
