The new concept meant the fresh produce was now out on display on the shop floor rather than behind the counters. This was good news for the shoppers enabling them to select their produce, but caused issues with the existing vinyl floor finishes which were subjected to ice and water. The vinyl floor became slippery and the water ingress caused the vinyl tiles to lift.
Flowcrete was called in to provide a suitable solution that would withstand the conditions and above all provide a safe environment for customers and employees.
