Goodman Fielder is Australasia's leading listed food company with a large selection of household name brands in its portfolio.
Employing over 7,000 people, the company manufactures at almost 60 plants in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. In 2010, the company opened its new corporate headquarters in Auckland with the inclusion of a state-of-the art kitchen where training, research and development are carried out.
The kitchen is a modern open plan area and required a suitable floor finish that would be functional as well as decorative. A site visit to Eden Park Stadium by one of Goodman Fielder's operations managers was to prove decisive.
Flowcrete had installed its Peran STB system in all of the kitchens and food & beverage areas at the stadium. The impressive finish was the deciding factor for Goodman Fielder to select the same flooring system for its corporate headquarters.
Peran STB is a seamless decorative floor finish based on coloured quartz granules in a clear binder. The system provides a non-slip, easy to clean finish. The bespoke colours formulated for Goodman Fielder complemented the modern stainless steel fittings, creating an attractive, upmarket ambience. Everyone was delighted with the end result.
